FIRST clinical use of PENUMBRA POD/PAC 400 system at University of Szeged, Hungary – Department of Neurosurgery!
48-year-old male patient with extra rare aneurysm with widened blood vessel. During extremely risky procedure we closed this diseased blood vessel distally and proximally as well in 2 steps. PENUMBRA POD400 could create a strong anchor and we filled with 4 pieces of PAC400 packing coils and we finished it with five PC400 Penumbra coils in proximal location of Aneurysm.
