Pioneering PCI with Ivac 2L MCS at CTO Congress

At the CTO Congress in Debrecen, a high-risk PCI was successfully performed using the Ivac 2L mechanical circulatory support device. The patient, with severe calcification, chronic total occlusion, and a low EF (21%), was at risk for hemodynamic instability.

The Ivac 2L was deployed successfully, ensuring stable, pulsatile flow throughout the 2.5-hour procedure, and the patient remained stable post-procedure.

Thanks to Dr. Ruzsa Zoltán and Dr. Tibor Szűk for organizing and leading this innovative case.
