We recently completed an intensive training on the VitaFlow Liberty™ TAVI System, organized by the Chinese and Spanish representatives of MicroPort.
Following comprehensive theoretical and hands-on sessions including written and practical examinations (valve preparation and delivery system loading) we concluded the program by observing live TAVI cases in two leading hospitals in Barcelona.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of MicroPort CardioFlow VitaFlow LibertyT, a groundbreaking TAVI device in Hungary! After the first cases at Semmelweis University Heart and Vascular Centre, Gottsegen National Cardiovascular Center, and University of Debrecen, we are confident that this innovative technology represents a new era in transcatheter aortic valve implantation. We're excited to…
Recently, the dedicated team at the Central Hospital of Northern Pest-Military Hospital proudly celebrated their 250th TAVI procedure! A big congratulations to Dr. Gábor KERECSEN, Dr. Zalán GULYÁS and Dr. Ágnes VIDA for their expertise in performing the procedure.
We, at DHS Hungary, are grateful to be part of this incredible success and to contribute…
We recently performed a challenging TAVR using Boston Scientific ACURATE neo2 valve in a patient with:
Key Challenges:
Left coronary artery take-off at just 7.6 mm
Horizontal aorta
Severe femoral calcification
To ensure safe access, we utilized peripheral Shockwave technology, which helped modify the calcified femoral tract. Despite the complexities, ACURATE neo2’s three size options,…
By utilizing the perfect coaxial alignment of an SE valve like the Acurate Neo 2, the hemodynamic outcomes can be significantly improved. With no paravalvular leak (PVL) and an average gradient of only 4 mmHg, the long-term management of a TAVR patient can be optimized. Boston Scientific Acurate Neo 2 boasts the lowest pacemaker (PM)…
The unique top-down deployment method of the BostonScientific Acurate Neo2 Aortic Valve allows a better alignment especially in horizontal aorta. Successful implantation, the mean gradient was below 7 Hgmm without any PVL or regurgitation.
Congratulations to Dr. Gábor KERECSEN and Dr. Zalán GULYÁS at Military Hospital.

High degree of aortic angulation is a challenging feature for transcatheter aortic valve positioning.
According to the multicenter, international registry collecting data of 3862 patients (HORSE), Acurate neo 2 showed superior device success among patients with horizontal aortas compared to the competitor device (91,2% vs. 86,6%), p<0,002. Congratulations for the great case to…
The unique top-down deployment method of the BostonScientific Acurate Neo2 Aortic Valve allows for stable hemodynamics through the whole procedure and predictable release. This technology together with the self-expanding, supra-annural valve structure demonstrates large EOAs and low mean gradients, also on the long term.
Congratulations for these TAVI procedures to the implanting team of University…
Successful pre-TAVI IVL procedure at Military Hospital. Shockwave therapy was used prior TAVI implantation due to heavily calcified and narrow femoral access. Congratulations for the innovative attitude Dr. Gábor KERECSEN and Dr. Zalán GULYÁS!
Transfemoral access has the lowest morbidity and mortality rates, and reduces hospitalization time during TAVI procedure. IVL technology facilitates transfemoral access…
BostonScientific Acurate neo 2 features Active PVseal™ technology and an extended sealing skirt that conforms to the native aortic annulus to minimize PVL. Valve implanted at University of Pécs, featuring excellent sealing and commissural alignment. Congratulations for the great result!
