First Penumbra Lightning Flash 2.0 case in Hungary was performed for massive bilateral pulmonary embolism in an acute setting. Despite difficult anatomy, the intervention confirmed the safety and effectiveness of the device, supported by the high level of expertise of the treating team and DHS professional support. The patient’s clinical condition improved significantly, demonstrating successful acute PE management.
